CWGC added the following to the WW2 Civilian Roll of Honour today. The following were all killed on 27.11.44 when the ammunition dump at RAF Fauld exploded. Some were killed at the base and some in the surrounding area, on local farms and a local factory. The largest explosion to occur in the UK to date. Several service personnel and Italian PoWs were also killed.
