    CWGC added the following casualties to its database today.

    AB John Henry PAYNE
    P/JX 163742 Royal Navy, HMS Kestrel
    Died 02.06.42 Age 45
    Commemorated: Portsmouth Naval Memorial, Hants, UK

    Penelope Minna LANDON
    WW2 Civilian War Dead
    Died 17.02.42
    Reporting Authority: S.S. Tanjong Penang

    The following are WW2 Civilian War Dead who died in the Philippines at Japanese hands or as the result of the privations of a Japanese internment camp.

    Margaret Elizabeth AARON
    Died 11.06.44 Age 43 (Myocarditis)

    Elvira ANDREWS
    Died 24.01.44 Age 72 (Cancer)

    Ada Aloysia APLIN
    Died between 01.01.42 and 31.12.45 Age 42 (Missing believed killed by Japanese)

    Mark BONIFACE
    Died 15.01.45 Age 56 (Tuberculosis)

    Arthur BRIDLE
    Died 03.02.45 Age 78

    Walter Simond BURWELL
    Died 30.12.44 Age 66 (Tuberculosis)

    NOT FORGOTTEN

    The above were In From the Cold Project cases.
    - AB Payne Died of unspecified illness (Volunteer: Dik Winkelman)
    - Ms Landon died in the sinking by the Japanese of S.S. Tanjong Penang (Volunteer: David Wingate)
    The remainder died as stated (Volunteer: Chris Harley)
