McLAREN, Robert Miller Died 06.04.46 Age 58 Reporting Authority: Perth County, Scotland Killed when ammunition dump exploded (Volunteer: Terry Denham) The following were all killed on 27.11.44 when the ammunition dump at RAF Fauld exploded. Some were killed at the base and some in the surrounding area, on local farms and a local factory. More names will follow in due course. The largest explosion to occur in the UK to date. Several service personnel and Italian PoWs were also killed.
