    NOT FORGOTTEN

The above were In From the Cold Project cases (Volunteer: Jim Grant)

The civilian casualties were all killed or died of injuries later due to a sea mine exploding. The mine was cleared from a beach where it had been washed ashore during an annual carnival. The adults removed the mine on a cart but it exploded nearby killing them and several children who had gathered as spectators.

The explosion killed two pairs of brothers and a father and son.
