As requested I have created this new area for those wishing to be involved in a clan or online gaming. I would be grateful for more info on how to set up clans or online gaming, if there is enough interest I may even allow one of my servers to be used for forum members to play
Apologies for (maybe) sounding a little thick, but, I know what a clan is (indeed , I can trace my ancestry back to the Clan Morrison of Lewis who, as part of the Clan MacDonald, presented their bones to forever fertilize the soil of Drumossie Muir), but what on earth is a "clan" in this context? (OK, I know I must be "behind the times" a little, but I'm just curious). Cheers, Dave.
a clan is just a team of pleyers who will play against other teams in legues etc, different game types like search and distroy, team death match legues. here is a new legue opening up(ladder they call it)ladder also here is a little sample to show u what its all about cod movie
We're just about to start play-testing a Call of Duty multi-player tournament for older pupils using our school LAN. I have just run a very successful 'Rome:Total War' tournament using teams in different rooms with their own digital projectors (essentially a two-team version of TV's 'Time Commanders'). However this will be a little more complex with two teams of 6-8 players each at their own consoles.
Unfortunately we have encountered technical problems -with more than about four players our LAN crashes. My techno whizz kids are trying to sort it out by fiddling around with the server, but they are not too hopeful at the moment that we can run a genuine multi-player version at squad level.
