hi folks, Thought i would introduce myself. Found this forum through some of the folks on the Great War Forum recommending it, and thought I'd join up and say hello. My interest is primarily the Western Front, mainly after D-Day, as that's when my father served in the Royal Engineers. I'm trying to find out more about what he did. I have a copy of his service papers, but haven't got round to doing much with them in the way of research. This looks like a good forum, hopefully I'll learn quite a bit here. Cheers, David
