I visited the US cemetery yesterday to take some photographs for Rob van den Brink (the man behind the Norton 16H website) who is researching the crew of a B17 which crashed in The Netherlands. It would seem that the US grave consolidations went beyond national boundaries. B-17GSH 42-3486 Invictus The cemetery has quite a detailed webpage but strangely doesn't include a photograph with a WD Norton in the foreground American Battle Monuments Commission It would appear that relatives of US casualties can obtain photographs of the graves via the Commission. There appeared to be caretakers resident on site too. A different scale of things from the CWGC sites.
