Just 12 lenses stamped on them

 

Look more Boer War than Second World War. It is unusual to have no marks - maker, retailer, user. Is there anything on the case - under the lid hinge?

 

quite... all the branding, productcoding and "Made in Germany/Great Britain" came just before WW1.
having nothing at all , anywhere (try look inside the occulars ?), would make it older than 1910...
