This shouldn't take you lot very long :) but it's interesting.

Humber with a 6pdr. Mollins gun?
Did it have a name? Canuck test, so maybe a Fox.

Indeed although I didn't know it was a Canadian test vehicle!

    I'm not certain either.
Just tagged as such in a few places.

Intrigued as to if it is a Molins.
    Not entirely convinced.

All seem to stem from some guy called Captain Australia (a very dubious super hero if you ask me, I imagine a shield in one hand and a can of lager in the other). However a Molins makes a degree of sense as the idea was to allow one man operation in a confined space and I have difficulty imagining where one would fit a gun crew in that thing. A Molins was experimentally fitted in an AEC and in the Morris Firefly. I can find no photo of the AEC installation.

Shame, but I think he's right, despite how pleasing it'd be to see that missing link.
    Good point about A30 etc.
Some admirable honesty/cynicism about fundraisers too.

Personally, I'd like to see Contentious move...

I was wondering about that shell until he poured his tea out of it. I was thinking it might be for the short barreled 75 in the early Panzer IVs. Anyone have a picture of a 75×243mm R?

Just realized that's 10x bigger than 7.53x25mm Mauser pistol round so it should like like a big pistol cartridge

I´m of course fully convinced... but you know: we Germans have that certain problem with surrender

StuH 42 F with it's muzzle brake missing?

Shame Bodston doesn't pop in much any more.
He was probably the uber ID-er.

Thought that 'interim' L30/33 stug had been dismissed?

Well, some day (when we're not all isolating...) maybe I can find out.

Don't think I'd seen it before, so definitely interested.
Still would like more on the 'Other Firefly' 6 pdr AC. Saw a few more pics recently, though can't recall where.

Bit of a shame that my best hard copy visual reference on Armoured Cars (other than the HMVD) remains a 1984 George Forty book.
Maybe some Don Juan figure will get around to them one day. ;)
