Hello everybody, Who knows what kind of part this is from a ww2 Mauser rifle? Greetings Gerard from Holland
Gerard, I have just had a look at this exploded view of a Mauser and I cannot see any part resembling yours. http://world.guns.ru/userfiles/images/rifle/2/1288251737.jpg I am no weapons expert and hope that some of our experts can identify the part for you. Regards Tom
Hello, I am gone to tell you the storie. I was about 12 years old in 1954. I found my dads mauser from ww2. removed the bolt and more parts, than i fixed it again, one part left. I tryd and tryd but did not find were to fix. So I kept this part carefully to fix later. I saw , fixing it on a shaft possibel you can use it as a tool, to prick a small hole somewhere in a corner, What do you think ?? Regards, Gerard from Holland
Maybe this can help determine which part it might be: K98k Mauser Page Here's a good video of how to dis- and reassembly a K98: K98 Cleaning and Disassembly - YouTube
That is no part from any standard Mauser 98, K or otherwise. Are you sure it was not already in the box when you started? Regards TonyE
Hello, everybody, Special TonyE Now I have doubt, but what can it be than ? This question was always with me , not yet the solution. Still a mistery, Do you like to know about my dads two mauser rifles, than read ,,my dads warstories,, in the forum . Regards, Gerard from Holland
