    Ah, I see the tabs are fiddly on Android tablet - will check Ipad this evening.
    There's an incentive to sort proper home pages - thanks RDR.

    Nailed together a couple of index pages for the Database & Links tabs to resolve to.
    Hopefully that'll help the tablet users out.
    I imagine Invision might sort these tabs for mobile devices soonish - they better do anyway, stats indicate Tablets access is on a solid climb.

    Just bumping this thread as I see a member has added an image to the Gallery & linked to it by pasting the url.
    If members would like to add Gallery images to a post please use the My Media button.
    Ta.

    The My Media Button allows members to locate and feature in a post any image which they themselves have uploaded.

    [IMG]
    [hr]

    Clicking on the My Media icon produces this window. Listed on the left-hand side are filter buttons which help to locate any attachments which you added to posts or images which you have previously uploaded to the Gallery.

    [IMG]

    This saves you the effort of uploading all over again and will provide a direct link to the original file or image which you can insert in a post. Anyone clicking on thumbnails of the images will be taken to the relevant page in the Gallery.

    [hr]

    Clicking on Gallery Images filter for example will show all the images you have uploaded. You can scroll through them all using the Next button at the bottom of the window.
    If there are too many results, you can filter them again by entering a term in the Search box.

    [IMG]

    [hr]

    Entering a more specific search term, e.g. something from the title, generally helps.

    [IMG]

    Click on the image thumbnail and a message will appear "Added to editor". If this is the only image you want to add to a reply click on the Finished button on the bottom right-hand side.
    If you check your reply window the software will have included a link which appears in [ ]s. These have been removed to show what the link looks like.
    sharedmedia=gallery:images:5756

    And this is how it should appear within the post, if the brackets remain in place.
    [sharedmedia=gallery:images:5756]

    [hr]

    Using the Gallery Albums filter allows you to link to a whole album

    [IMG]

    As above, select the album by clicking on it, and the editor should automatically add the link within the body of the reply window. Click Finished to exit the window.

    Without brackets, for illustrative purposes
    sharedmedia=gallery:albums:154

    And as it should appear
    [sharedmedia=gallery:albums:154]

    Is there a possibilty to embed a video? Would be nice, I think. A picture says more than a thousand words. Hence, moving pictures...

    If you upload elsewhere, i.e. use a link from hosting site like p/bucket, it shouldn't be a problem ...
    Have you tried?

    Nijmegen,

    I know you have your own site where you place videos but I thought you also had a YouTube account or am I just imagining that?

    :) On both assumptions, you are right, but it would be "cooler" to play a video inside a post.

    All you do mate is add (copy and paste) the YouTube address of the video in the post where you want it to go and the site software will recognize it and automatically embed, no fancy buttons necessary. I could easily embed your "D Day I Slomo" video right here as an example, but I'm not sure if you would want that as I notice you use your real name?

    Regards ...
