    im over whelmed with the support and help from you guys abig void is being filled in our families history

    john aka jack white survived also

I feel strongly compelled to write a thank you to all you that have helped I originally started of with only the details of both my grandfathers and this was sketchy to say the least but since then through the help and support that you guys have gave the about me page on my wesite has turned into something resembling a pte ryan movie this down to you guys websites like this so to all of you that have the interest and have gave your time to help i am very much indebt to you

    and yes there is still more information required if you can help

    i cant believe this but if you look at second man in in photo of guard of honour he looks like uncle will write to regt museum

    Do you know how tall he was?

    I'm not very good at this sort of thing but he does appear to have a similiar nose, jaw line and chin.

    Well spotted on the 'Lance Jack'. I missed that.
     
  15. I would prefer he wasnt one of the men killed at le paradis as it was an outrage and terrible way for brave fighting men to meet the end
    but from readin the book the amount os signallers in that locathion and mentioned in the book would maybe put him at the scene
    i wonder if ocallaghan is still alive
    or any of the men that were ther at that stage of the war

    and see what the other book and reports i can get hold off

    Its a MK II, I don't have any accessories for it. The dial lock is broken. Must build a power unit for it and get it running again. There was an article on it in 'Radio Bygones' some years back - I have it somewhere.

    Interesting website, by the way, look forward to the museum items...
