Deacts :( ...There's nothing like a real Mp-40 at the range...except the MG-42 which costs the national mint to shoot. Are you a reenactor or are deacts just a collecting hobby? Are their alot of K98s floating around Sweden? There's still quite a bit left in Norway. Thanks for the pics.

I am from Norway, and therfore i got my collection there.
Here in Sweden u cant have em becouse the law says so.
They see no different between active and deacts weapons.

All of my deacts can be cooked and dry fired, som of them can be striped.
    Almost all are numbermatching.
My MG34 have a orginal reciver, and not a dummy one.

This is my hobby, to collect weapons that have been used in Norway during ww2.

Thanks, I used to email a guy by the call sign BergFlak. He had good condition Mauser parts. We do live fire exercises now and then but its expensive. An aunt of mine has a house in Atron but I have never been there.

The Norwegian army did for a long time use German ww2 weapons like the K98, mp40 and mg34. i Think some of them was used to the late 80`
Same whit the Norwegian homeguard, they also used German weapons for a long time. The k98 was then sold to hunters. So in Norway u will find a lot of them.
U get em from 1000Nkr and up.
I belive its the cheepest hunting rifel u will find there.
