My book-buying "problem"

Any mention in the book about the original name of 'Mayfly' and which regiments fired it first?

 

There is cursory mention of Mayfly, I think, but not exact. Will PM you when I have the book to hand.

 

It's a gooder though very technical. Was a slow read for this non-techie but worth it.

 

From memory, it doesn't add anything to what we've worked out for ourselves:

The dream of finding Men of Valour (8 Hussars) in a charity shop has not yet materialised. A shop in Westport appears to have acquired Alanbrooke's library but they're going for a bit of a premium, so probably a good thing there's no time to go there.

 

A book buying opportunity:



Having just splurged on a number of once-in-a-blue-moon 'bargains', I think I'd better avoid searching Lulu for 'P M Knight' for now. Hopefully his cut isn't affected.

 

Yes, I know one has an NMP reprint and the other is in the gallery here - what part of 'problem' don't you understand?
