I recall reading that some of the Phoenix Caissons were towed to Walcheren, to help fill the breach in the island after the war.

In Zierikzee, next to Walcheren on the island of Schouwen-Duiveland, a complete museum ist situated in Phoenix caissons, reminding of the great flood in 1953, that led to the consruction of the Deltawerken.

The other (eastern) end, at Asnelles. 2001 is omitted because it shows only a very small portion of the area.
