Spotted this memorial at Mudchute Allotments in London while out with the family yesterday. Not familiar with the area and couldn't find anything online. There are some gun emplacements at the adjacent animal farm so I'm guessing WW2-era?

This looks like one of the named men: J J Gordon DSM

    Aye, that's the one.

    Names on the memorial are:
    • J J Gordon DSM
    • T D Sammons
    • G J White
    • N W Avery
    • F J Vincent
    • A E Read
    • D F Campbell
    • B High
No joy identifying any of the other names, some have multiple possibilities, others have no matches on CWGC.

Spoke to a chap at the allotments and he suggested it had been there since about 1986 and it was for past members of the allotments who had died .He had no more info than that
