I have in my possession a hand written diary of the Syria campaign 1941 from May that year until Dec 3rd. I would like this to be passed on to a family member if possible. Written by a J Taylor 1457599 L/Bdr B Troop 170/57 LAA Reg RA. Any help would be appreciated.
If this was passed to family, I’d appreciate being put in touch please. My Grandfather served with the 57th and I’m trying to put together his service career in detail.
Hi, As Ernest hasn’t returned to the forum since making his post your best chance of making contact with him will be via the forum personal message system (don’t know if you need to make a minimum number of posts before you get access to it). Just click on his name and a box opens up then just click on the “start a conversation” box and a text box will open where you can write your message. If he hasn’t changed the email he provided when he joined the forum he ought to receive your message. Good Luck Steve
