    Can anyone tell me:-
    With regards the numbers on the receiver where the Makers Name & the gun number is (ie BNZ 1266), if a number was crossed out by a line stright through & another was stamped that matches the rest of the guns numbers, does this mean the original part was replaced by another & stamped with the original number??

    Also where are the numbers & WaA marks to be found, any pictures???

    Mons-I can tell you the MP40 part in question is from Steyr-Daimler-Puch AG, Steyr, Austria.
