Monarch of Bermuda - Troop Ship

Hello, My Mum sailed from Liverpool to Egypt in 1941 via Cape Town and Aden. She did not sail into Suez, I think it was Port Tuffek (?) Is there anyone who was on that ship? Thanks

 

Port Tewfik was the new port built at suez when the canal was constructed.

This website is very good for plotting the routes for such WW2 Convoys. Looks as though Convoy WS 5B or WS 9B might have been the one your Mum was part of?
