He's spent 9000 hours and at least 70,000 euros on it, but at least he named it after his girlfriend.

Anyone have any info about the company that manufactures the rubber model firearms as used in Band of Brothers? I really REALLY want an MP44, and wont ever be able to afford a deact or even an airsoft. But I might be able to stretch to a rubber one

See what I did there? ;P

Pottered onto a website on the creation of that Pz.III some of us saw at Beltring, scaled up from a Tamiya kit.
    Great stuff:
FV432 conversion to Panzer 3 german tank
(I think it's the same one anyway...?)

Hadn't looked in on Filmpanzer for a log while.
Still going strong, with some interesting new stuff going on:

The detail is phenomenal. It might be interesting to apply some of his techniques in building replica replacements for some of the coastal defence batteries around the world.

    What an amazing project!
'undestanding wife' must be something of an understatement.

26D, easy option, use it to form a master mould and produce steel reinforced fibre glass replicas. Easy to make and reproduce when rquired - just take care of the master!

Our problem is that all of the masters have been sold for scrap. Even getting dimensional data is a pain.

With such a highly researched and brilliantly manufactured new 'original' making a mould would appear to be a good option. The problem would most likely be safe storage of the mould. Might be worth investigating.
