I went to Hampton court palace the other weekend with my other half, ovely day. I saw a few signs that looked like this, I have seen lots of these signs but usually they just have M.O.W and A.R.P on them now i know M.O.W is Ministry of Works and A.R.P is Air Raid Precautions but what is H.M.O.W? I have googled and cant find out, I presume H......... Ministry of Works
Before Min of Works the dept was the Office of Works, Its formal title was His Majesty's Office of Works. TED
