We have an Omega pocket watch which possibly came from BQMS Hird RA

on the back is an inscription
    MINISTRY OF SUPPLY
    H.G.T.P.D.

Can anyone tell us what the letters stand for?

And is this likely to have been issued in WW2?
    Thanks

    Thanks Bruneval
    Certainly looks like it.

Now wonder which family member did it belong to?
