    I thought this was interesting after reading an article about mine clearance in Norfolk


    "The beach was reopened to the public on 3rd November 1965.1000 mines were sown.Although only half of the mines have been defused it has not been decided if signs will be put up warning the public about the danger"

    My father in law stood on one just after the war. Probably a little to the west towards Sheringham. Needless to say, it didn't go off!
