Apologies if this is the wrong part of the forum but I am looking for help to identify what I believe is known as Military Recognition Flash.

The flash has an image of a rampant horse, in white, within a white oval frame all on a green background.

It belonged to my father who was commissioned into the Royal Engineers and served in the Civil Affairs Corps in North Africa, Sicily, Italy and Holland.

    Many thanks,

    Gerry

    Hi Gerry,

The best I can up with is the flash for the Royal West Kent Regiment, see attached image.

Thanks everyone for solving this in double quick time. It seems that it is the badge of the North Kent and Surrey District of the South Eastern Command, adopted from the cap badge of the Royal West Kent Regiment.

    Regards,

    Gerry
