Mervyn Hutton Driver Royal Signals POW

    Hi im looking for more information on my late grandfather Mervyn Hutton who was a driver in the Royal Signals and was taken POW in Crete and was then taken to Stalag 18B and his prison number was 801 and work group was 148/GW.

    Im looking for imformation on my late granddad Mervyn Hutton driver Royal Singals. He was taken prisoner in Crete and taken to stalag 18B. His prison number was 801 and work group at some time was 148GW. I have posted some pics he had. He didnt talk about this time in his life so we dont have much information.

    Do you know what unit/regiment your grandad was in ?

    If not you need to apply for his service records:

    I have some pics of him from Stalag 18 in his work party. I would like to find out what he did and any other information.

    I have some pics of him from Stalag 18 in his work party. I would like to find out what he did and any other information.
