    I have a relation (AGD Hovord) who was Merchant Navy in WW2 and his Card (attached) shows his medal entitlement. If I read it correctly he was awarded 39/45 Star, Atlantic Star, Pacific Star, Italy Star & War Medal. Can someone confirm.
    Not sure what the R means against Africa Star, Burma Star and France/Germany Star - any ideas.

    An R signifies that an application for that medal was reviewed and refused.
