Thought you might like to see some of my Dads pictures he took with 292 Bty HAA.

He was also a cook with his unit and some pics show the hardship in making a meal in the desert.

I have found a certificate confirming his flying hours. I have a feeling that he failed his practicle on weather conditions.

The other is a copy of his Warrant. Sadly the seal cannot be made out.

Whilst looking for something else I came across a small box containing some RA badges ( GR and ER ), RA and RHA lettering ( collar badges? ) and some documents including my late fathers driving licence.
Also among the paperwork was a note form his BC about the Sunday Times Trophy, a "Note on the liabilty to recall to Colours", Record of Service army form W5258, a £ 5.00 "Gratuity" army form N1492.
I have updated my father album. But can anyone tell me what the Gratuity would be?
