    Hello,
I am in the process of translating a WW2 Resistance eyewitness testimonial, and I have a question regarding the acronym G.T.P. According to the testimonial (written primarily in French), this seems to be a prominent German police force operating in Brussels around 1943. Does anyone have any idea what it may stand for? My initial guess was G for "geheim" and P for "Polizei" (as in the G.F.P.), but, unfortunately, this idea has not led me far...

    Thank you sincerely,
    Simone

Note - In addition to replying to this post, could someone please tell me where I should post translation queries in the future?
