I posted these photos in the gallery last year however this afternoon whilst looking for something completely different I came across a video of the last engine runs on this aircraft in 1988.

    Nicks,

    A nice find.

I always thought that it was a nice looking plane, but suffered from a poor reputation due to the earlier Me 210 Problems, which were sorted out with the modifications that became the Me 410.

Interesting couple of Canons in Port and Starboard Fuselage Barbettes with computerised sighting System.

    Regards
    Tom

Tom - not all the 410's problems were eradicated. When Eric "Winkle" Brown tested the 410 after the war, he discovered it was still plagued by the long-axis "snaking" of the 210. Not as bad, no longer a killer - but still intrusive.
