I have just found his site with browsing through various combinations put into Google.
It looks extremely interesting and I hope to get round to reading all the threads in good time.
My interest in this site is because I was an evacuee from the London Blitz and having been bombed out twice and machine gunned twice I decided to put a website up to commemorate the 60th D-Day and to thank those who fought and died to give me a life.

I had been collecting wonderful stories and poems from Veterans from all over the world that have never been published before and I put this site up in March of last year.

Its had well over 8,000 visitors.

My Home Front site was put up much later but that too has had well over 4,000

    God Bless All.

    Welcome to the forum May.

I am sure all veterans that visit your sites will be assured that there is still a celebration of thanks out there for the wonderful job they did for all of us.

Except for Darwin, Australia was spared the horrific bombing of their cities.

Many thanks for the welcome Spidge and I will be calling in here to browse this afternoon when I have finished shopping.

I hope if any members from this site do visit my websites and like them they will sign the guest books.

I have had three reunions from the guest books alone.
It made me feel on top of the world to think that one reunion was between mother and son who had fallen out with each other over a family rift. :D

    God Bless
    Maywalk.
