My folks lived in CIV4, 3 miles from the town hall (radial lines show the distance). Grandad stood on the back step one evening and said: "Bloody 'ell, the town's on fire". EDIT: Nearest bomb hit is about 250 yards away. 2 civilians killed 13/10/1941. Very little damage to industrial sites in the area.
