Wondering if anyone in the Forum is near Charleston.

    We have

O/S William Charles Ansley who is in Section 4, Row 11, Grave 10 of this cemetery.

    Late of HMCS Bittersweet.

Thanks to anyone who might be able to take a shot of this stone and of the Cemetery in general.

Might be worth asking on Otto's other forum, there are a lot more Americans on there.

And he was found, thanks to dbf. A gentleman by the name of Paul Wilson has photographed his grave and posted it on the "findagrave.com" website. My gratitude to both.

    Andy,

I was lucky enough to visit Charlston a couple of times on my travels, but never got to the cemetery.

I have to say that it is a very beautiful place to visit and lots of Military History regarding the area with Fort Sumpter etc.

Google Patriots point and you should get to see the Aircraft carrier, Submarine and Coast Guard Tender, all WW2 veterans and floating Museums.

    Regards
    Tom
