If your looking for someone specific, just post his name and we can help. Also, Ancestry.ca has the personnel files on all Canadian’s war dead and Missing (if they were declared dead) on their site (for free)

And you can also search the Canadian Virtual War Memorial on line at:

The Canadian Virtual War Memorial (CVWM) - Memorials - Remembrance - Veterans Affairs Canada

And if you are looking for someone specific, the book “They Shall Not Grow Old” (I have a copy and can look up anyone for you) lists all Canadian KIA, Missing, POW’s…….and also list all deaths thru the Commonwealth Air Training Plan (if they were killed in Canada)

Presumably this is the man you're looking for?

Unknown airman, RCAF, Groesbeek Canadian War Cemetery: 16/12/1944

I'm reminded of a story of an RCAF airman, on the Hamburg raids of 1943, being lost. Crew all killed. He jumped, without parachute, and landed on the concrete deck of the local milkman. Said milkman reported this legless airman to the local Luftwaffe flak unit whose CO said "We'll be right there to get him". They never did. Milkman buried airman in his yard. 10 years later he decided to move and his neighbours all reported him to the Hamburg Kripo as well as the local RCAF representative. I do not know why they waited a decade to come forward. Body was exhumed, parts of a parachute harness found

The airman lies today as an unknown. Alan Wells of this board figured out who this man was. Best to say what he wasn't. Canadian. The CWGC will not entertain thoughts of anybody in their cemeteries being dug up for DNA testing.

    Regards,

    Dave
