Hi. As noted in the "Wolf in sheeps clothing" thread, I recently purchased a B-17F model and would like to paint and decal it as one that had been captured and then repainted and used by the Luftwaffe. Any idea where I could find some 1:72 scale decals of the Luftwaffe and Nazis? Thanks!
Just google "luftwaffe decals" plus your location, and see what happens - should turn up model shops and/or sellers in you area. Ebay also does some - but it's a bit hit and miss.
In the UK Hannants is a good supplier of aftermarket decals and do ship overseas but otherwise try the vendors list at the excellent Missing Lynx for good quality suppliers.
Thanks for the links VP... I found these 3 sets that would be able to complete the B-17 that I'd like to do... This set of letters (DL + XC) Hannants - Tally Ho TY72043 - 1:72 This set for the s/n (124585) Hannants - Tally Ho TY72006 - 1:72 And this for the swastikas on the tail and cross Hannants - Eagle Strike ESP72067 - 1:72 Unfortunately, this comes to be over $40 USD, which is a bit steep for just decals. Any of you guys that are more familiar with the sites know a place to get decals cheaper, and possible some of what I'm looking for altogether on one or two sheets? Thanks!
