Luftwaffe bombed Freiburg

    Today, 79 years ago in 1940 and by mistake, the Luftwaffe bombed this German city near the Black Forest.

    I am researching another strange story. A very experienced German FW pilot Hauptmann Ekkehardt Tichy who lost one eye in an earlier fight and collided with a Lancaster and was killed close to my home town.

    But Bach is my favourite composer, and I often listen to the FBE's playing of his music on youtube.
