    Hi all

Just to let you know that a programme goes out tonight on ITV Wales about RAF evader John Evans.

It tells the story of evader John Evans who was shot down in May 1944 and spent four months on the run. He was aided by the Comet Line.

It features an interview with Andree 'Nadine' Dumon and the first ever television appearance by Luftwaffe ace Dr Rolf Ebhardt.

Dr Ebhardt came to the UK to meet John.

The programme is John's tribute to the people who helped him.

It is the last in the series of 'Welsh Heroes of World War 2' and is on TONIGHT. 10.35, ITV Wales.

Two previous programmes are available to view online here:

Welsh Heroes of WWII - ITV News

I made D-Day Commando with the wonderful Ted Owens and we went to Sword Beach and the Walcheren Island where he served with 41 Commando.

A colleague made Tracking the Enemy with RAF plotter Eileen Younghusband and it features some great stuff from Bentley Priory.

The John Evans programme should appear at the same link tomorrow.

    Thanks

    Greg
