Thomas was born in India in 1906. He initially joined the Indian Army as a private and was then commissioned in the Royal Indian Army Service Corps in 1942. After this there is no trace of him. It is thought that he may have gone into Burma but I have nothing to confirm this. From what I have found there are no Indian Army records from this time although I am hoping that someone can tell me otherwise.
