Lt Mike Hann 2nd Batt South Wales Borderers

    Lieutenant Michael John George Hann was born on 3 Jun 1921 in Cardiff, South Wales. He was awarded a proficiency certificate (Certificate A) for the written examination of the Junior Division of the Officer Training Corps whilst at Stowe School in Nov 1938. He was appointed as 180149 - 2nd Lieutenant, South Wales Borderers from 167 OCTU, Park's Hotel, Droitwich. 3973806 L/Cpl Hann, M.J.G. Reported to the unit 3/1/1941.This appeared in the supplement to the London Gazette on the 15th April 1941 (p.2174).

    Mike landed on D-Day in the second wave with 56th Brigade. Does anyone know what he did after that - I know the units general movements.
