I expect most of you heard of this incident this in the news this week but just picked up the speech below on an army chum's Facebook and thought it worth sharing. I don't know who he is nor have I verified if the comments are factual: Lt. Col. Allen West speech on the Marines urinating on dead Taliban: “I have sat back and assessed the incident with the video of our Marines urinating on Taliban corpses. I am disappointed in that Lt Col's remarks. At his rank and education he should be able to do better. Obviously, the bigger picture is lost on him. Oh, by the way, I have been not been shot at by the Taliban. Does Al Qaeda, Iraqis (once in each war), and others count?
I'm satisfied with Article 15 and a formal apology. The only proviso is that the Taliban surrender their weapons to attend the ceremony. Otherwise, they'll never be satisfied.
