++ Bombadier G.A. Rogers. On the 11th Feb 1947, 2 anti aircraft gunners where killed and another seriously injured, but succombed and died on the 21st Feb 1947. The deaths where caused by the barrels of the gun they where firing blow up during practice firing at Manorbier Pembrokeshire. 14172374 L/Bmbr Alfred Clarke Edwards Roberts was killed at the scene. 4452521 Kenneth Reddington died of injuries received on the 21st Feb 1947. The third Bdr George Alfred Rogers aged 18 of Whittington Moor Chesterfield who was also killed instantly on the 11th. Whilst both Roberts and Reddington are listed CWGC, I can not find George Alfred Rogers listed for the 11th Feb 1947 on CWGC.
