My father was discharged in 1945 from the Canadian Army, under Routine Order 1029 (10). Can anyone please tell me what that means? Thank you

    Hi Elaine

Is it possible to scan and then upload an image to show the context of the order - often these are now obsolete orders but sometimes seeing it context can aid members to decipher its meaning

Seems to be a common order saying basically you are no longer required after [date]

A Second War Canadian Memorial Group to the RCEME
He was discharged from the Service under Routine Order 1029 (10) as "Unable to meet the required military physical standards" at No. 6 District Depot, Canadian Army, Rehabilitation Wing in Halifax, Nova Scotia on September 30, 1947.
