I am looking for the War Diary of Gordon Highlander 5/7 bn info.
January 2025. That year Robert Edward Kirk died (accident) in Oisterwijk.
I have obtained info on the young boy who, most probablly, died with him that day.

Maybe there is some more info in the war diary

On 28 Jan 45 the 51st HD (to which 5/7 Gordons belonged) were in-between-battles. The Highlanders left the arctic battlefield of the Ardennes from 15 January onwards, moving to the Turnhout area for a well-earned rest and refit, and started to prepare for Op Veritable 8 Feb 45.

Have you asked Stolpi? He did send it (Post 6) a year ago. You have posted enough times to have access to the Private Message (PM) option. Click on his Avatar, select 'Start a Conversation) and go. He was logged in today.

Did have a quick look and unable identify anyone else who has that month's WD.
