    Noted this Pilot Officer in the local cemetery, as died from wounds 14 April 1942.
    214 Sqd converted from Wellington II's to Sterlings Mk I,that April. Part of No 3 Group, Bomber Command, they flew '...some of the bloodiest missions of the war against naval, industrial and other targets.' [Sqd History]
    Am interested if anyone can shed any more light on this casualty.
