Magnificent Poppy display currently on st St.Georges Hall in Liverpool. In the theme of the Tower Of London Event this is the Weeping Window:-
Also Prescot Cemetery is home to a ‘Field of Poppies’ on the occasion of Remembrance Day. Volunteers from the Friends of Prescot Cemetery & Churchyard worked with Prescot and Knowsley Councils to create the display using 7,000 poppies from recycled Remembrance wreaths. The flowers surround the BI Memorial, where an Armistice Day Act of Remembrance takes place at 10.50am on Wednesday 11 November. These images taken earlier today at the Sunday remembrance Ceremony.
