Killed on Active service along with 3 other ranks of the Buffs on 13th Feb 1941 in West Wales. Lt Shelling was aged 23 a native of Southernhey Exeter. His body was returned to Exeter for burial. CWGC have admitted he is not listed with them although the 3 privates are. Just one of a number I have that are not listed with CWGC in my database of over 2,500 jpegs of Pembrokeshire military related headstones covering the years 1722 to 2004, the majority related to W.W. 2 Lt Shelling is one of over 500 known military deaths in or related to Pembrokeshire world wide that I have yet to obtain jpegs of their headstones. if you know the names and resting places/cemetery then post them so the members who have taken photos or have photos can help you. Also PM Chrisharley9 he knows how to get the CWGC registers amended.
