The first photo: 33.5 cm / 13.2 inches of snow here during the day today. Even though I like snow, I think this ensuring a white Christmas has gone a bit overboard. Especially when a blizzard is forecasted for Monday night. The temperature hovered between -3 and -6 degrees C on Sunday. 2nd photo: A scenery on Friday, notice the skier and mist. 3rd photo on Sunday afternoon
Ok, the blizzard came and went, 1st photo from this morning, approx. 42.5 cm /16.7 inches of snow, temperature -7 deg. C. During the day occasional snow showers, bringing maybe some 3 cm / a bit over inch more snow. 2nd photo: the smaller of the two nearby rivers.
No snow (yet) in Holland but freezing temperatures for a couple of days .... and as usual, when temperatures drop in this country the skating fever rises! ... Holland obviously has a great potential for ice rinks
Nice story about the blizzard in Buffalo, New York this weekend Buffalo couple takes in stranded tourists amid monstrous winter storm
In opposite world, we have gone through the entire month of January and into February 6th without a single snowfall in southern Connecticut. By comparison, January 29th, 2022.
