Hell of a frost! I was crunching around where, hours ago, I was sloshing! Weird. I'm holed up in here; No tv, radio, papers or social contact. World of my own, really. I don't really know what's going on till it's happening and I work it out. No one told me it would freeze tonight. And I certainly never saw This one coming!

Christmas likely to be white with frost under a blue sky There is disappointing news for anyone hoping for a white Christmas — the latest computer-generated weather forecasts point to a Christmas Day without snow. A sustained dry spell is forecast over the next week because of high pressure. A strong high-pressure system blocks depressions, forcing the accompanying wet and windy weather to make a “detour”, so there could be clear skies over much of Britain on Christmas Day. Temperatures will depend on where the centre of the anti-cyclone is anchored — indications are that it might drift northwards and sweep in cold, dry air from Europe. Looks like no white Christmas this year.
Cold here in Berlin last night when we went taking Christmas Light photos around the tourist centre. The photos did not turn out too well with Anja leaning out of the car window! The first picture is the Funk Turm (Radio Tower). The second is the TV mast at Alexander platz. The others are of the Kudamm shopping area. Regards Tom

No snow but quite a hard frost. Took these today whilst up Liddington Hill taking those Starfish Decoy Bunker photos.
