It's been so snowy here, I've had to shovel off the hot tub three times this week just so I could get in and watch the storm blow ...

I have several freight cars of snow on their way to you, Erich ....

    cheers,
    phil

We have the precipitation, just not suitable temperatures. The NWS is just about measuring rainfall by the foot around here and it has rained almost steadily around here for nearly two weeks. The rivers and creeks are flooding and there are large numbers of roads closed, especially to the south of here. We've had a lot of rain this year, in contrast to 2007. We're around 20 inches above average annual rainfall this year.

Drove through the Cotswolds up to Chipping Norton via Burford in my lorry today.
A light sprinkling of snow up there.
It was like driving through a real-life Christmas card.

I currently live in Norwich and we have had a fair bit of snow. I won't get to enjoy it though as I have just joined a ship today, quite fancied pretending I was 12 and making a snowman aswell ;)

A little more snow here in Berlin, but it has not got much above -12oC for the last 4 days.

Great for the children, but not when you have to venture out on the roads.

    Regards
