Well thats more or less me ready to leave for the next 2 weeks, off to Gran Canaria with my wife and 3 children tomorrow, flight leaves at around 5pm so should be there by about 10pm.

I will leave you in the capable hands of my Father who has not long had his instructions on backing up the sites to make sure nothing is lost in the event of a server failure or any other problems.

I have made quite a few fixes to the sites overall hence I have been a bit quiet recently, nothing of note that stands out, more background changes to ensure the site stays running smoothly.

I have bee working a fair bit on the radio site as well, its become amazingly popular these days with some 250 regular listeners, more to come on that soon.

Once I get back we can also look at distributing that cash we have raised for veterans charities so if you have any thoughts on that please let me know.

No doubt there will be an internet cafe across there and I will log in now and again when my wife thinks I have just nipped across to get a paper ;)

See you all in a couple of weeks. B)

I thought I did quite well after one trip to New York having got home at 5.30pm getting to bed at 12am and then up for work at 7am the following morning.

How on earth did you manage to get up at that time after only a couple of hours sleep

    It was a struggle :D

I would have been better just staying up, trying to get just 2 hours sleep is not a good idea.

The other day as i walking through a rather sodden glasgow, I spotted two policemen holding a man in a suit and carrying a briefcase.

he was shouting "B*****ds! Lucky! Lucky! B*****ds"!

Turns out he was the Chairman of the kent Water Authority! :D :D
