Let me start by saying im new to the forum, Im a picker/ resale kind of guy. I normally don't buy military items because I know nothing about them but this stuff ended up in my hands

135th AAA GnBn Hand Painted Sign The sign measures approx. 15" square, has an 8-ball in the center with a winged "Kilroy was " peaking over the top of it. (I guess a better way of saying it is "Behind the Eight Ball") Above Kilroy is the letters AAA (Anti-Aircraft Artillery) and under Kilroy is 4 stars. Around Kilroy is England France Belgium Holland Germany. T are two types of leaf clusters around this, Oak and Laurel. In all 4 corner are painted shoulder patches. At the bottom it says, 135th GnBn. Have box it was shipped home in.

Also have some patches, medals, pins

I would like too know more about everything before I decide to sell or keep it. Thanks!

    Hi.

    How about a picture ?

Sounds like it might be a marker for the Red Ball Express

    Dave

    Edit:

My mistake. I thought your post read, 'An 8" ball".

A picture would still help though.

Any idea what this sign would be from? I was told maybe an officers club sign or something of the like? But seems maybe like more of a souvenir to me. As I said though I have no clue. On that note though anyone looking for something in particular let me know I run across a lot of things. And honestly for true collectors I normally just charge a finders fee for what I find if that.

See I found that too, but they talk about it being so rare? How can two exactly similar hand painted plaques be so rare? surely there are more floating about? I also wanted to confirm that they were right and not just blowing hot air to sell a product you know?
